This figurine of wondrous power appears to be a small stone with the totem of a bear carved into it. When the figurine is tossed down and the correct command word spoken, it becomes a living bear. The bear obeys and serves its owner. The bear understands dwarven but does not speak.
Upon utterance of the command word, the stone grows to the size and specifications of a dire bear. The animal created from the statuette is fully obedient to the figurine’s owner.
If it is broken or destroyed in its statuette form, it is forever ruined. All magic is lost, its power departed. If slain in animal form, the figurine simply reverts to a statuette and cannot be used again for one full week. Otherwise, it can be used once per day for up to 1 hour.
